Change Your Linked AdSense Account on YouTube

If you are a YouTube Partner Program member, maintaining an active AdSense account and linking it to your YouTube channel is required for continued eligibility. Your AdSense account allows you to earn revenue from ads displayed on your videos.

If you need to change the AdSense account associated with your YouTube channel, you can do so by following the steps below. Please note that you can only change your linked AdSense account once every 32 days.

Step 1: Sign in to YouTube Studio

To begin the process of changing your linked AdSense account, sign in to your YouTube account and navigate to YouTube Studio.

Step 2: Select the Earn Section

From the left menu, select the "Earn" section. This will take you to the YouTube Partner Program Options page.

Step 3: View Current AdSense Account Details

On the Partner Program Options page, you will see details about the AdSense account that is currently linked to your YouTube channel. This includes the name of the account and the email associated with it.

Step 4: Select "Change" to Be Redirected to AdSense

If you want to change the AdSense account linked to your YouTube channel, click on the "Change" button next to the current account details. This will redirect you to the AdSense website.

Step 5: Authenticate Your Account

To continue with the process, you will need to enter your AdSense password and re-authenticate your account using your preferred method. You can find information on how to re-authenticate your YouTube account on the AdSense website.

After authentication, you will be taken to the AdSense website where you can link your existing AdSense account or create a new one. If you already have an AdSense account, sign in using the Google account associated with it. If you need to create a new account, please remember that AdSense only allows one account per user.

Step 7: Accept Association and Redirect Back to YouTube

Once you have linked your AdSense account to your YouTube channel, you will see your YouTube channel's URL under "Your website." If this information is correct, select "Accept association." You will then be redirected back to YouTube. If you are not redirected, click on the "Redirect" button.

Step 8: Set Monetization Preferences

Once you have completed the process of changing your linked AdSense account, you can set your monetization preferences by following the steps on the screen. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for the association to be reflected in our systems after linking your AdSense account.

In conclusion, changing your linked AdSense account on YouTube is a straightforward process that can be completed in a few simple steps. Remember to maintain an active AdSense account and link it to your YouTube channel to continue earning revenue from your videos.
